Opening his Spatial account with Healing Properties, Eusabia immediately throws down the gauntlet showcasing an inimitable versatility with breakbeats, permeated with a jungle flex so rarely captured in the atmospheric D&B landscape. Pivoting effortlessly as the track progresses from drumloop to thunderous drumloop with a simmering haunted atmosphere and deep, weighty basslines to yearning filtered vocal samples, this track has it all.

A2 - The Space Between
Smooth jungly synthwork seizes the foreground before crisp breaks begin to reveal our direction through The Space Between, jittery key stabs and familiar old school FX create a unique sci-fi style backdrop as the breaks drive the vibe forward, switching and weaving in style, constantly mixing it up to ram the point home that you cannot fully appreciate a Eusabia track until every second has been consumed - many times over, as The Space Between demands.

AA1 - Scope of Understanding
A more contemplative piece, Scope of Understanding strips things back with a synthwave-esque vibe tinged with intrigue and allure. Soon the breakbeats leap into gear and develop with an incredible level of refined detail, expertly edited, chopped and cut to a darkly undertone of sub bass and subtle micro melodies. Scope of Understanding will leave you in awe of the quickfire ideas Eusabia can conjure in the space of 6 minutes.

AA2 - Self Reflection
A smooth atmospheric introduction ushers in a thumping drum tools workout, somehow perfectly in sync with the calm harmonies dancing around in the composition. Certainly a track to enjoy both on the discerning dancefloor and while driving home with rain lashing at the windscreen at 2am, Self Reflection's synths and breaks conclude the EP in style leaving a long lasting memory of a Spatial debut you will not forget.

Eusebeia makes a welcome return to Rupture with his next release, the 'Restoration EP'.

The Wiltshire based producer has been super prolific since his Rupture debut ('You Reap What You Sow EP') in 2021, with quality releases coming on labels like Samurai, Western Lore, Livity Sound and Future Retro.

'Restoration EP' has a spiritual feel throughout, drawing you in as it progresses upwards, with Eusebeia setting dreamy pads and keys against deep subs and stripped back breaks. More

Following on from the success of his debut EP (Fall Then Rise) for the label, we asked Eusebeia to contribute a second EP. Carving out his own place inside the Samurai Music soundscape has come effortlessly for Seb and the tracks for the Omen EP flowed quickly. EP opener Auspice is the odd one out on the EP, with sinister sonics weaving around a steady kick drum bounce absent of Seb's trademark break-work. Sparse and haunting - it sets the scene for title track Omen where Seb lays out a time capsule summation of his sonic identity - contemplative ambiance, rumbling bottom end, and breakbeat craftsmanship. Indicia burrows deeper into emotive territory and cuts breaks so they wrap around the plaintive melodic content. Signs and Signals is perhaps the most direct tune on the EP, but still the undeniable power of the breaks and bass is welded to the expressive atmosphere. More

We welcome Eusebeia to the Samurai family with the Fall Then Rise EP.

A plan hatched at Membrain Festival 2021 led to the collation of the first Eusebeia tracks for Samurai. Hitting the target with his very first demos for the EP, Eusebeia perfectly constructed 4 tracks that take his signature timeless break-heavy, musically spiced sound and give it a Samurai flavour.

The EP opens with 'Nothing Left To Lose' which marries his soaring Junglist aesthetics to a 126 BPM lurch step, setting an ominous mood before the EP's two centre-piece tunes 'Call Out' and 'Fall The Rise' deal out the heavy hitting break-edits. Always keeping the musical elements to the fore, Eusebeia's engine room of deep sub and breakbeat crunch create an irresistible package that any lover of classic era Jungle/Drum and Bass will feel deep in their bones. Burgeoning closes the EP with a volley of amen edits punctuated by expertly melded fills of the most effective breaks in the business. As always the spice of the track is the reaching pads and deep pulsing sub.

Fall Then Rise is an auspicious debut EP that cements Eusebeia as a perfect addition to the Samurai Music sound palette. More

Mike Parker is one of underground Techno's most vital luminaires. His hypnotic aqua-pulsing, live hardware approach has undeniably influenced the direction of Techno since the late 90's and spurned some of the genre's definitive tracks.

Sabre-Tooth sees Mike Parker arrive on Samurai with 4 tracks that follow on from his essential Devils Curators series for Donato Dozzy & Neel's Spazio Disponible label where he unveiled his initial experiments with the 85/170 BPM tempo.

Sabre-Tooth is a stylistic re-calibration of Mikes's machine funk hinted at with his remix of Presha's Mainliner in 2022 but previously unheard in stand-alone tracks.

Steadfast cyber-rhythms, precision percussion, and trademark oscillating analogue waves are the magic ingredients on each track. Sparse elements honed to maximum effect, the Mike Parker science. More

Release Info:
The stars aligned to bring another of our all-time favourite producers, and indeed one of the most important musical figures from the Techno sphere to the 170/85 BPM tempo when Reeko sent us a demo late last year. All four tracks perfectly create a fully formed and distinctive stylistic adaptation and were signed instantly. If we imagined what Reeko would sound like at this tempo, we couldn't have envisioned a better reality.

These four tracks make up 'Confront The Serpent' - an ode to the machinations of an Ayahuasca ceremony and its resulting journey of discovery. The Serpent symbolises our shadows and the importance of facing them.

A hazy psychedelic aura floats across these tracks, binding them together, while the kicks possess the perfect frequencies you would expect from such a renowned kick-drum scientist. Percussive and ambient elements for each track create flawless contrasts and shade, while Reeko's subtle low-end work proves the deadly ingredient to send the tracks into a delicious level of hypnotism. 'Smile At Reptile' is especially notable for its deftly reworked, cascading breakbeat and inventive kick/break combo.

A potent new force has arrived at this tempo and we are honoured to be the label that presents the first fruits of this new perspective to the world. More
