After a first appearance on our “get-together” various artists, we couldn’t be happier to welcome back two of Bucharest’s finests, Priku & Dinu. Warm, cosy, dub-infused but always highly effective grooves from the minimal masterminds, including an alternative version of “stereo eyes”, previously released on get-traum. Cherry on top ? Two reworks from label head Traumer, one being under his recently launched moniker, Jinger.

Repress!
Maara’s out to make mischief with the wryly titled ‘Hear Me Neigh’.
Whether that title’s in reference to a certain equine dissociative or purely a love letter to our majestic, four-legged friends, well, we’ll leave that for you to decide. Either way, the prolific prog house luminary lends her Midas touch to four equally deadly traxxx.
Following last year’s ‘Fancy Feast’ EP comes another proper dose of heads-down hedonism. It’s an eagerly-awaited return to the Kalakari fold, and true to form, opener ‘The Horse Track’ comes hurtling into the first furlong at full pelt. Big equestrian NRG packing some seriously rugged heft and neighing samples aplenty. Then, bringing more of that insistent throb, ‘Juicy Tracksuit’ is no less alluring or propulsive, albeit while channelling some Y2K aesthetic.
There’s more of that turn-of-the-century flex on the next one too. Evoking Love Parade circa 1999, ‘God Save The Bender’ deploys scything hard trance flourishes while opening a portal to the fractal realm. And finally, ‘Sheela Na Gig’ lands dripping with more of the seductive appeal that has become Maara’s hallmark. More

Four reworked funk fuelled bass heavy cuts, tried and tested by the man himself on dancefloors across the globe and due to be released on vinyl only later in the year.
Deeply rooted in the golden era of the 70s and 80s, Rayko’s influences are masterfully interpreted and transformed into modern day dancefloor bombs, and are a key signature sound of his long established label Rare Wiri (Since 2008) an outlet for his productions alongside other likeminded artists such as Daniele Baldelli, Man Parrish, Gazeebo, Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Spirit Catcher, Mushrooms Project, Eric Duncan among many others. 12 tracks, all great examples of real soul music, a mix of well-known classics, overlooked gems, and 4 songs that were never on vinyl before!
Whatever condition your condition is in, Soul4Real have huddled together a team of the finest soul physicians to make you feel good.
We scoured all the shelves in the soul pharmacy and discovered some potions that were only just through the trial stage. Just one listen to the brilliant Aretha, Gladys, Walter Jackson and the Purify’s tracks convinced us not to wait for FDA approval, so we took the plunge and shared them with the world on vinyl for the very first time.
Recorded in 1968, Arthur Alexander‘s magnificent “I Need You Baby” reached legendary status during the tape-swapping epidemic of the late 70s/early 80s. The first traces of Alexanderitus were linked back to a tape dispensed by a north London mod by the name of Randy Cozens, which went viral. Even today, the mere mention of the title to any of those C60-swap-survivors can cause severe heart palpitations.
Down in Memphis, they tend to practice the holistic approach to heartaches. Southern folk understand it’s about the voice and its natural healing powers, especially when it’s being administered by the likes of the Soul Children and Shirley Brown, who instinctively inject the perfect amount of ache, warmth and emotion to hit just the right spot. May we prescribe at least two listens a day, taken with or without food.
Helping with recovery we have included tracks by our care team Maxine, Gil Scott-Heron and the Isleys, whose gentle grooves will help nurse you back onto the dance floor in record time.
And finally, my personal favorite, Dr Johnnie Taylor. Frankly, it beats me how someone who delivers the lines "she don’t break no records when it comes to good looks” and “she burns up the food when she cooks" to his girlfriend manages to avoid a trip to A&E. We decided such foolish bravery should be rewarded by having his picture on the album cover. More

Zohra - Badala Zamana (Extended)
2023 Repress
7'' edition of the 1977 produced title track ''Badala Zamana'' by Algerian singer Zohra, with extended version on the flip! Check!
Born in 1950 near Constantine and raised on a parental diet of traditional Arabic music, Zohra quickly took up singing and playing the guitar and kept doing so after she and her family moved to the North of France. Playing gala events and receptions during her first years in France it took an encounter with multi-talented instrumentalist, composer, arranger and conductor Joël Hannierto take her into the world of recorded music. Joël Hannier’s experience in writing and interpreting music for ballets, television, orchestras and a vast array of French and international musicians made sure their collaboration – sung in a Berber dialect – was destined for success. The title track ‘Badala Zamana’ gets picked up by various radio stations, most notably in Arabic speaking countries. In France the song did not go unnoticed either, but until today - although championed by Habibi Funk among a few others – it remains relatively unearthed. More

RELEASE INFO:
Tresor Records is pleased to announce the new reissue of James Ruskin's seminal Point 2 album.
First released in 2000, it marked a fine debut that entrenches the minimal sequences, utilitarian funk and
eerie hypnosis found within Ruskin's body of work. As Tresor's relationship with the UK sound grew stronger
across the course of the '00s, it was Ruskin, the label owner of Blueprint Records, who played a critical part
in this. Throughout the trio of LPs released over that decade, inspirations of the sci-fi minimal Detroit sound
lie abundant, rendered through corporeal slammers typical of the UK vein.
Point 2 was the first of Ruskin's trilogy for Tresor, and brought a direct and uncompromising vibrancy to the
fore, from the aquatic symphony featured on 'From Over The Edge' to the pinpoint gaze of 'Subject'. Gurning
loops beat against alien samples, drained into refined abstractions of pure techno.
Newly remastered and featuring two tracks previously not cut onto vinyl, this upfront and bold classic is set
to span dancefloors once again.

Gabriele Toma - Magic Flute
Breakout artist Gabriele Toma brings his thumping house sounds to Hot Creations with the four-track EP, ‘You See Me’. Italian DJ/producer Gabriele Toma is shaking up the scene with releases on established labels such as Trick, CUFF, and Hellbent Records, swiftly capturing the attention of industry giants such as The Martinez Brothers, Cloonee and Hot Creations label head Jamie Jones, to name a few. Positioning himself as an exciting newcomer to watch, having previously released his bouncing ‘Lit Bit’ EP on sister label Hottrax, Toma now makes his Hot Creations debut with his knockout four-track EP, ‘You See Me’. ‘You See Me’ opens the release with a low-slung bassline, bustling drum funk, and addictive rap-style vocals that propel the track as a certified bouncer. ‘Move Your Body’ delivers another groove-led house beat with bouncy bass hits and skittering female calls, while ’Muevete’ sets the dance floor ablaze with vibrant bongo beats in true Hot Creations style. To close, ‘Magic Flute’ lives up to its name, with whistling flutes at the core alongside pumping bass to craft an irresistible afterhours workout.

UPC: 827170470064 Release : 19.11.2012
A. Dntel - My Orphaned Son (Die Vögel Remix) AA. Herbert - It's Only (DJ Koze Remix)
Pampa is proud to present stunning remixes from Die Vögel for Dntel & DJ Koze for Matthew Herbert. Still impressed by the outstanding Dntel album "Aimlessness" Die Vögel deliver a remix that broadens their multifaceted sound aesthetics once again with catchy Steve-Reich'esque melodies that cover the voice of Jimmy Tamborello just like they always been there. A very powerful fundament is carrying the house, so big and full of suprises. Also, this house has many windows to all cardinal points. It was 2001 when Matthew Herbert enchanted us all with his blueprint album "Bodily Functions". 11 years later the distinctive DJ Koze takes on two of his all-time favs to remix, "You saw it all" (which will be part of the re-release on Accidental) and "It's only" which will be released by Pampa Records digitally AND on vinyl. The result is a breathtaking piece of modern music,
The beautiful voice of Dani Siciliano has experienced a total new dress, she´s now the irrestible captain of a fat but flexible submarine, diggin' in deep waters for new ways to enlighten the dancefloor...
An instant classic already....
